October presented a change of pace for the B2B Marketers monthly lunch event. Instead of our usual location on the north side (thank you Miller Brooks), we ventured downtown to Ruth’s Chris. And instead of a single speaker, we engaged a panel of experts to share their knowledge on all things content. Turning Content into Gold, was a panel discussion comprised of 5 local content experts – Chris Muckridge, local freelance writer; Daniel Herndon, principal at MilesHerndon; Lorraine Ball, principal at RoundPeg; Lynnell Nixon, Content Marketing Manager at Site Strategics; and Michael Reynolds, principal at Spinweb.
The panel discussed a variety of topics, many from a prepared list of questions, but also several topics provided by attendees. Topics ranged from developing a content strategy to measuring the effectiveness of content to sourcing ideas for content. With a ride range of influences, the panel provided a wealth of information and insights.
This was the largest event for the B2B Marketers and proved to be an overwhelming success. With great food and service (see more on that in the blog post that follows) provided by Ruth’s Chris, we’ll likely host another event downtown in the coming year.
Thanks to all our panelists and those who attended. If you have any ideas for a presentation topic or would like to present, please contact us!
